Shooting range rules vary a little depending whether the sport is played indoors or outdoors. The basic rules are however mostly the same and most of them are related to the fairness of the game and to the safety of the shooters.

The first rule to respect is that when the lights are off, the shooter may take his or her chance. Otherwise shooting is not allowed, not when the lights are flashing or when they are on. Also, the firearms must be placed towards a safe direction at all times. No rapid fire is allowed and no smoking either.
